Children's Therapy Services - Speech & Language Therapy TeamOur team provides speech and language support for children and young people who have speech and language therapy (SALT) specified in Part F of their Education, Health and Care Plan (EHCP).
We work with children who have been referred to us by their local authority (North or West Northamptonshire Council) for speech and language support in education settings.
The team will design individual therapy plans for the children we support, based on specifications in Part F of their EHCP. We will also contribute to Annual Reviews where this is required.
Some examples of different ways we can support children and young people include:
- Observations
- Assessments
- Individual and group therapy
- Workshop training and coaching sessions for school staff

Children who have an Education, Health and Care Plan (EHCP) where speech and language therapy (SALT) is specified in Part F of their EHCP and they have been referred by their local authority.

How do I register for this service?
Children and young people must be referred to this service by the Education, Health and Care Plan (EHCP) team at their local authority (North Northamptonshire Council or West Northamptonshire Council). Please note it is not possible to self-refer to the service.
