Acute Liaison Mental Health Service (ALMHS)We are a specialised mental health team made up of psychiatrists, psychologists, nurses, social workers, and occupational therapists, peer and carer support workers, experts by experiences and admin staff based at Northampton General Hospital and Kettering General Hospital.
We work with other services including primary and secondary care mental health services and third sector organisations. We also work with other relevant service providers who we think may be able to help you.
Who is this service for? We offer a compassionate, person-centred and non-judgemental service to patients aged 18 and over, experiencing mental health problems, who are attending A&E or are inpatients at the general hospitals.
How do I register for this service?
People would access this service following a referral.
This might be via A&E or on the general wards of the hospital which would be made by the medical teams.
