Crisis Response UnitThis Crisis Response Unit (CRU) operates 24hrs a day, 7 days a week. The service runs with one vehicle and crew. The CRU will aim to arrive within one hour of receiving a referral call.
The CRU will be staffed by qualified mental health professionals and support workers, with access to carer peer support workers as required.
Who is this service for?
Anyone over 17 years and 6 months old who is experiencing mental health crisis in the community.
How do I register for this service?
The service operates through referrals from other medical professionals.

The Crisis Response Unit team is a multi-disciplinary team consisting of:
- A Service Manager overseeing the operational development and mobilisation of the service
- Senior Clinician
- Support Workers
- Peer Support Workers
- Lived Experience Lead
- Co-production
- Business Support Manager
