Making a difference to our community

Northamptonshire Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust (NHFT) wants to ensure you have the best possible experience when using our services. Patient experience can be described as ‘what the process of receiving care feels like for patients’. We want to understand this and use our findings to make things even better. At NHFT, we value the views of our patients, carers and all those who use our services, capturing direct feedback. We also encourage working together to co-produce services. This means involving you in designing how we best serve those who are cared for by NHFT.

Through good patient experience and involvement, we want to continually improve our services and make a difference to you and the wider community.

Patient Feedback - have your say!

Your feedback is extremely important to us - it tells us what we are doing well, what we need to improve and what we need to change. By providing feedback, you help us understand what is important to you and allow us to take action so that everyone who uses our services has an outstanding experience. We listen, we act, we respond.

Depending on your circumstances and how you are accessing care at NHFT, your service will ask for your feedback and guide you through the appropriate survey. You can also contact the Patient Experience Team to give feedback about your experience of care with NHFT at NHFTFeedback@nhft.nhs.uk.

Thank or give a compliment to a member of staff

Has someone made a difference to you? Tell us about a team or staff member who provided high-quality care, or a service and we will pass a message on to the teams/staff member concerned. If you would like to share any positive feedback about your experience of any of our services. You can either approach the service direct or email compliments@NHFT.nhs.uk where this will be shared with the service and logged on our internal system.

PALS

PALS is a free and confidential service for patients, their carers and family members. We can provide on the spot advice and support. We will always communicate in a way that suits you and feedback to keep you informed. If you have any concerns or need some advice about your care and treatment, please contact our Patient Advice and Liaison Service (PALS) by email to pals@nhft.nhs.uk or by phone on 03000 273 708.
