We are a living wage accreditated employer. The living wage commitment will see everyone working at NHFT, regardless of whether they are permanent employees or third-party contractors and suppliers; receive a minimum hourly wage of £8.45 - significantly higher than the national minimum wage of £3.40 - £6.95 for those who are 16 to 24 years and the National Living Wage, £7.20 for those who are 25 years and over. The living wage is a robust calculation that reflects the real cost of living, rewarding a hard day’s work with a fair day’s pay and shows the Trusts commitment to everyone who is part of team NHFT.

How do you recognise excellence in your team?
Here at NHFT we want to recognise the excellence in our team, that is why we created our NHFT Quality Awards. NHFT Quality Awards are a chance to celebrate and share good practice, recognising those who deliver quality care and generating a sense of pride amongst our team. Regular awards take place throughout the year, each of the winners are then entered into a contender list for the annual awards ceremony held towards the end of the year.
