Our integrated healthcare service focuses on primary care, mental health and substance misuse. Our care for offenders with long-term illnesses and mental health problems is provided onsite at prisons, in inpatient units, as well as in the community.

NHFT provides integrated healthcare services focusing on primary care, mental health, substance misuse and other essential health services in prisons across various geographical areas in England.

Our teams adopt a multidisciplinary, trauma-informed approach and they consist of medical, nursing and allied health professionals. Our comprehensive mix of practitioners enables us to offer the full range of primary healthcare equitable to that received in the community.
