Our Older Adults Community Mental Health Team (OACMHT) offers assessment and treatment to older people with mental health problems and dementia.
We are a community-based team working to give service in people's homes and in the community. We are a multi-disciplinary team made up of many different skill sets.
Who for: People over the age of 65 years.

Meet the team
Our team is made up of different people with different skill sets including:
- Consultant Psychiatrist
- Qualified Mental Health Nurses
- Occupational Therapist
- Community Support Worker
At times students will also work in our teams. This can be medical students, nursing students, Occupational therapists, clinical psychologists or other professionals within healthcare.
All disciplines will contribute both professional and generic skills to the Community Mental Health Team for the individual under their care. Each team member is professionally responsible for clients under their care.
Non-registered staff will work under the clinical guidance and direction of appropriate professionals.
