Mental Health Support Teams

The Mental Health Support Team works with schools across Northamptonshire. We have bases across the county, including in Northampton, Kettering, Corby, Wellingborough, Rushden, Daventry and Brackley.

We mainly work in schools. Not all schools are part of our service yet, but we plan to support all schools in Northamptonshire by 2029.

Schools where we currently provide support

We offer one-to-one support for children and young people. We also run group workshops and school assemblies, based on what each school needs. We meet with children, young people and their parents or carers to understand their mental health needs. Together, we agree goals and decide what support may help.

Our aim is to help children and young people understand and manage their feelings, stay well, and enjoy school and everyday life.
