TypeAdult Services - Dietetics
We are the Nutrition and Dietetics service for Northamptonshire and we offer evidenced based dietary advice to all ages both in the community and in hospital.
We are a team of over 30 people including dietitians, dietetic assistants and administration support and cover a range of specialities including weight management, mental health, cancer care, critical care, allergies, kidney care, digestive conditions, diabetes and stroke.
We offer 1-1 consultations and group sessions for a variety of health conditions, such as coeliac groups and cows milk protein allergy talks. We also deliver education sessions to staff and carers.
As well as this, we provide student training for Nottingham University dietetic students for placements A, B and C and we offer a “taster session” annually for people interested in a career in nutrition and dietetics.
