Adult Services - TB Nursing ServiceWe work with patients suspected of having tuberculosis (TB), those receiving treatment and people who have been in contact with TB and need screening. We also offer advice and information to Doctors, other health care professionals and the public.
Our team of TB specialist nurses visit people receiving TB treatment in their own homes to provide support to them and their families. We also arrange the screening of people who have had contact with TB.
If you are worried that you or someone you know has TB or you need information and advice about TB, please contact the team.
BCG vaccination – the vaccination for TB – for those children who fit the criteria is provided through the health visitor. Please contact your child’s health visitor if you think he or she needs BCG vaccination.
Who is this service for? Any who has TB, has symptoms of TB, or has had contact with someone who has TB. Anyone who needs advice or information regarding TB.
