Secured ServicesNHFT are working in partnership with CNWL as our subcontracted healthcare provider within HMP Woodhill. This is a unique and progressive partnership with and between two Foundation Trusts.
HMP Woodhill, located in Milton Keynes, is a category B training prison for adult males, with a small number of category A prisoners. Able to hold up to 570 prisoners residing across 6 houseblocks.
Men at Woodhill are transferred from other prisons to learn skills to address their offending behaviour and to equip them for the workplace. Our healthcare provision is an integrated service including primary healthcare (medical, nursing and pharmacy), primary and secondary mental health, clinical and psychosocial substance misuse, physiotherapy, podiatry and optometry; we also have a highly skilled nursing team including non-medical prescribers. We provide an integrated trauma informed service which offers seamless care for our patients.
We are very proud to work collaboratively with our prison colleagues to ensure a multidisciplinary approach is taken in educating, supporting and encouraging patients to make healthy choices.
