The Northamptonshire Anchor Institutions Network has been officially launched, bringing together organisations to address important social and economic inequalities to make Northamptonshire a great place for people to live, work and visit.  

This week is National co-production week, a week where we celebrate the work that service users and carers do together with our staff, to improve our existing services and to develop new services. Co-production and the value of lived experience is at the core of improving the experience of future service users and carers who access NHFT services.

People are being invited to find out more about how Northamptonshire NHS patients and carers are working alongside providers of services to help improve healthcare outcomes across the county.

Thanks to kind donations a new-look family room has been unveiled at a service which helps children and adults who have experienced serious trauma.

The Chief Executive of Northamptonshire Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust and Leicestershire Partnership NHS Trust has been recognised in the King’s Birthday Honours List.

Local healthcare trust, NHFT, has been recognised for its “incredible work” to support nurses and midwives recruited from overseas, despite only recruiting internationally for just two years.

The BMA and HSCA have announced junior doctors strike running for 72 hours from 06:59 on Wednesday 14 June until 06:59 on Saturday 17 June.
