Northamptonshire Healthcare (NHFT) to provide health services at 7 secured sites across Lincolnshire and Nottinghamshire

Earlier in the year, NHS England asked Northamptonshire Healthcare (NHFT) to provide health services at 7 secured sites (mainly prisons) across Nottinghamshire and Lincolnshire. HMP Lowdham Grange becomes the first of these secured sites to transfer to NHFT.
NHFT has a track record of providing safe, quality care to residents of prison and other secured locations across a number of years. We look forward to providing leadership and expertise in this specialised area at HMP Lowdham Grange and the other new site, with the ultimate aim to improve services for the residents and teams working at these sites.
In welcoming HMP Lowdham Grange to Northamptonshire Healthcare, we also welcome a team of new colleagues to the Trust. We will be working together with them, to understand how we can make a difference and develop quality, safe care.
The remaining 6 sites will transfer by 31 March 2026, they are:
HMP Nottingham and Ranby (Nottinghamshire cluster) and HMP Lincoln, North Sea Camp, Morton Hall and Swinderby Short-Term Holding Facility (Lincolnshire Cluster).
