Introducing NHFT Together: including everyone

Welcome to another new edition of NHFT Together, the quarterly magazine from Northamptonshire Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust (NHFT) for our service users, colleagues, stakeholders and communities.

The theme of this issue is 'including everyone', which is the fourth of the six priorities in our THRIVE strategy. This is about making sure that everyone's voice is heard and matters in our care as we build partnerships, break down barriers and work to involve our rich and diverse communities in helping us to develop our services.

As always, there's lots to explore from across NHFT, from children's to adult services and from hospitals to the community to our secured sites. So you can find out how our school nurses are working hand-in-hand with youth workers to keep young people in North Northamptonshire thriving in life, and discover how co-production has been at the heart of a positive cultural shift in our adult mental health inpatient wards.

We travel north to the Lincolnshire coast to learn more about an innovative wellbeing programme at HMP North Sea Camp, while back in Northamptonshire we meet our Admiral Nursing and Speech and Language Therapy teams to find out all about the difference they're making.

We're also pleased to introduce you to the newest members of our Council of Governors and to Mabel Blades, who we caught up with as part of our regular Meet the Governor series.

And finally you can get the lowdown on our fantastic Staff Networks, who do brilliant work every day supporting NHFT to deliver real change, be more inclusive, tackle discrimination and celebrate the diversity of our workforce.

We hope you enjoy this new edition of NHFT Together and have a great summer.
