Join our free webinars on supporting the armed forces community and health inequalities
We're inviting members of the public, partners and communities to join two upcoming free webinars exploring how health and care services are working to better support people across Northamptonshire.
These sessions offer an opportunity to learn more about important topics affecting our communities, hear from expert speakers and people with lived experience, and take part in conversation through live Q&A.
Supporting the Armed Forces Community
This webinar focuses on the support available for veterans and the wider armed forces community.
You'll hear about specialist services including Op RESTORE , which supports veterans' physical health and wellbeing, and Op NOVA , which works with veterans who are in contact with the justice system. The session will also include lived experience from NHS staff working in secure settings, offering insight into how services work together to provide care and support.
Health Inequalities
Our second webinar explores what health inequalities are, why they matter, and how they affect people locally.
The session will include an introduction to health inequalities, a service user perspective, and examples of how services are working in practice to identify and reduce inequalities. It will also highlight how communities and partners can play a role in improving health outcomes.
Take part and learn more
Both webinars are free to attend and open to everyone. Whether you're interested in learning more, supporting your community, or shaping local services, we encourage you to join us.
These sessions are part of our wider commitment to working with our communities. Through Membership , we create opportunities for people to stay informed, share their views and get involved in shaping the future of local services.
