Welcome to your brand new NHFT magazine!
We are delighted to introduce the very first edition of NHFT Together, the brand new magazine from Northamptonshire Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust (NHFT) for our service users, colleagues, stakeholders and the wider population of our county.
Published four times a year, our magazine aims to showcase to you the very best of what we do to provide the best possible care for our service users, their families and carers, and demonstrate what 'making a difference' really means.
This will include exciting innovations to make our care even more effective, shining a spotlight on our wonderful NHFT colleagues and teams, and stories shared by our service users about the difference we are making.
In this edition, we bring you updates on how we are making a difference, together, across our wide range of services, including an award-winning end-of-life care programme in prisons which has captured royal attention, the opening of a newly refurbished inpatient ward for people with acute mental health needs, and a smart investment in clever gadgets to improve foot care for people with diabetes.
We also hear from a new mum who is full of praise for the support NHFT has provided with her baby's feeding journey, learn how our physiotherapy team is working hard as a team to bring waiting lists down for patients - and much more!
