On Wednesday 12 October, Northamptonshire’s 3rd Tissue Viability Conference was held at Kettering Conference Centre. The collaborative event was organised by Northamptonshire Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust, Northampton General Hospital, Kettering General Hospital and private healthcare provider Circle Health, enabling shared learning across the organisations.

On Friday 7 October, Northamptonshire Healthcare Foundation Trust celebrated the opening of a new garden, with all of those who contributed to the installation of the garden, and the staff who are likely to benefit from its installation.   

On Thursday 6 October, Northamptonshire Healthcare Foundation Trust picked up three award wins at the annual Positive Practice in Mental Health Awards.

Feeling low can interfere with our lives, making it hard to think clearly or work, relax, study or sleep. Many of us will know when we’re upset but we may be unsure what we are feeling. Is it sadness, fear, loneliness, anger or something else? We don’t always know why we feel the way we do.

Northamptonshire Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust is raising awareness and reducing stigma in the lead up to World Suicide Prevention Day

World Suicide Prevention Day (WSPD) takes place on 10 September. Across England, 13 people die each day from suicide. Often someone who is experiencing suicidal thoughts won’t reach out for support, with men three times more likely to die from suicide than women.
