NHFT's Community Team for People with Learning Disabilities are delivering an event on Monday 20 June to coincide with Learning Disabilities Week.

On Monday 12 September 2022 from 5pm - 7pm, Northamptonshire’s provider of community and mental health care services will be delivering the annual showcase of achievements and milestones from across the Trust over the last 12 months

This week is Dementia Action Week (16-22 May), which is an awareness raising campaign to encourage individuals and organisations across the UK to ‘act on dementia’.

The theme this year is DIAGNOSIS.

On 12 May, to celebrate International Nurses' Day, our very own Palliative Care Specialist Nurse Maria O'Neill was invited to be part of an event held at Bury St Edmunds Catherdral. 

New for 2022, the Corporate Governance team has launched a Membership Events Programme with a series of engaging virtual webinars on topics chosen by the members themselves. The first of these free events is a Dementia webinar on May 17th. 

Angela Hillery, Chief Executive of Northamptonshire Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust and Leicestershire Partnership Trust, has been named as one of the top 6 Chief Executives in the country by the Health Service Journal.

“Headfest” is a week-long mental health focused event taking place at the Royal and Derngate theatre, Northampton, during Mental Health Awareness Week, from Monday 9 May - Sunday 15 May.

20% of women will experience a mental health condition during pregnancy and up to a year after having a baby. Of those, 70% will hide or underplay how they’re feeling. This is why it is so important to talk about perinatal and maternal mental health and raise awareness of vital support services here to support women and their families across Northamptonshire.

Northamptonshire Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust (NHFT) is a long-term partner of iWantGreatCare (iWGC) and uses iWGC across all its mental health and community services to listen to what service users are saying and use this insight to make quality improvements and build a ‘patient first’ culture within the organisation.

The Squirrels service provides residential care for children with disabilities. Thanks to a kind donation young people will now have access to two new tablets to aid their respite.
