Service provision

Together with the rest of the NHS, Northamptonshire Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust has been working hard to respond to the changing coronavirus (Covid-19) situation. This has meant that many of our services have paused or reduced their provision, or changed how they do things to offer telephone or virtual video-conferencing appointments.

We are now in the process of recovering all services that were delivering differently at the height of the pandemic. There will be a period of working through referalls and appointments, but our aim is to get back to our usual service provision. In order to keep our patients, service users, staff and visitors safe, this may mean that some services continue to offer appointments or clinics over the telephone or virtually. Your clinical team will be in touch to discuss this with you.

To be clear, all services that were previously listed on this website as being paused or offering reduced service are now either re-open or actively progressing towards recovery.

Please remember to wear a face covering if you come on to an NHFT site.

Visiting

To reduce the spread of infection, we are not allowing visitors into our hospitals at this time. There are some exceptions to this – such as if a patient is receiving end of life care, or if the patient is a child on the combined Burrows/Sett ward. If this is the case, please get in touch with staff on the relevant ward for more information.

Our visiting arrangements remain under constant review. Please check back here for more information.
