Begin the new year with free Recovery College courses
Our Autumn term was a great success, with over 30 courses delivered and more than 250 students attending. Thank you to everyone who joined us or encouraged others to take part.
We have even more courses planned for 2026, and our Spring Term starts this January, why not get involved?
What is Recovery College?
Recovery College is a free learning programme that supports mental health and wellbeing for anyone in our community. Our courses are co-produced by people with lived experience and professionals, offering a welcoming and inclusive environment to learn, share, and grow. Whether you're a service user, carer, family member, or simply interested in mental health, Recovery College is here for you.
-
Recovery college allows students to learn from the lived experience of people with mental health conditions and neurodivergence, alongside the expertise of professionals.
-
Everyone is welcome - current and former service users, carers, friends, family, NHFT colleagues, and staff from partner agencies.
-
We have flexible options to suit everyone's needs. This includes half-day and full-day courses in Northampton, Kettering, Corby, Daventry, and online.
-
Topics include mental health, wellbeing, neurodiversity, and involvement opportunities, and every course is free.
What our students say:
-
"A really lovely atmosphere of non-judgmental people working together"
-
"The trainers were really good and delivered the course amazingly. I struggle in online Teams courses and felt really at ease"
-
"It has really helped me overcome obstacles in my recovery journey"
