Important update: visiting or attending an appointment at our sites

Important update

Following the Government announcement on Friday 5th June that visiting rules and restrictions are now at the discretion of each NHS Trust, we have reviewed our current visiting policy.

In line with our Northamptonshire colleagues at Northampton General Hospital and Kettering General Hospital, we are continuing with current restrictions as we believe this helps to keep our patients and staff safe. This means that we are not allowing visitors into our hospitals at this time. There are some exceptions to this – such as if a patient is receiving end of life care, or if the patient is a child on the combined Burrows/Sett ward. If this is the case, please get in touch with staff on the relevant ward for more information.

We will be keeping our visiting guidance under review, so please do keep checking back for updates.

Additionally, from Monday 15 June any visitors to our sites, including face to face appointments will need to wear a face covering in order to help prevent the spread of coronavirus.  We are unable to supply face coverings to non-NHS staff, however encourage all visitors and patients / service users to make their own following the guidance here. It is not necessary for children under the age of 3 to wear a face covering or mask.
