Thank you to our volunteers for making a difference!
This week, 1 to 7 June is volunteers week and we wanted to take this opportunity to say a big thank you to all of our volunteers here at NHFT.
Everyday our volunteers contribute hours of their own time, to go above and beyond to support NHFT teams and services. Across NHFT, we have 85 volunteers who work in different areas from clinical ward based settings, to supporting administration staff or helping create beautiful gardens for our patients and service users, that totals an outstanding 11,104 hours that they have all given to us over the past year.
Volunteers provide a valuable service to us here at NHFT, their commitment and dedication goes a long way and really does make a huge difference, not just for our staff but for our patients, service users and carers too. Volunteers are an integral part of any organisation or business, and we feel incredibly honoured to have the support from the volunteers we have.
