NHFT appoints new Chair

Northamptonshire Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust (NHFT) is pleased to announce the appointment of Crishni Waring to the position of Chair.
Crishni was appointed following an open and rigorous recruitment and selection process led by the Trust's Council of Governors.
Crishni has experience in the public, private and voluntary sectors. She has a diverse industry background having worked in the fields of health and wellbeing, education, retail and logistics. She has also been a Non Executive Director of Coventry and Warwickshire Partnership NHS Trust.
Commenting on her appointment, Crishni said "I am delighted to have been appointed as NHFT Chair. I believe the Trust has a strong record of success and has a clear vision of how it wants to develop its services to meet the needs of local people. I am excited at having the opportunity to contribute to the organisation's future development, working with our staff, patients and carers as well as stakeholders in the wider health and social care community."
Crishni will take up her appointment on 1 November 2016 for a period of three years. She takes over the role from Paul Bertin whose term of office expires on 31 October 2016.
In welcoming Crishni's appointment, Paul Bertin said "I have every confidence that, under Crishni's chairmanship, the Trust will go from strength to strength. Her skills, experience and personal values will be real assets to the organisation and I wish her every success in her new role."
At its 12th September 2016 meeting, NHFT's Council of Governors appointed Crishni as the new Chair of NHFT.
