Maximise your interview skills with NHFT
Northamptonshire Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust (NHFT) are holding an interview skills workshops to help people interested in apprenticeships develop their skills and know what to expect when it comes to applying for job opportunities.
Apprenticeships give young people and those looking to get back into work an excellent opportunity to support their local NHS trust while learning new skills and taking steps to further their career. Attending your first interview or applying for your first job may be a daunting experience for many, therefore NHFT have designed these workshops to include everything you need to know about interviews and the job application process in the NHS.
These workshops will provide interested attendees with the skills needed to prepare for interviews and will also offer guidance on how to apply for jobs within the NHS by using and navigating around NHS Jobs. People can also register their interest for upcoming vacancies and enquire about work experience opportunities.
There are two workshops available, they are free to attend and everyone is welcome:
- 30 April, 9.30am to 12.30pm, Boardroom 1, Sudborough House, St Mary’s House, London Road, Kettering, NN15 7PW
- 30 April, 1.30pm to 4.30pm, Boardroom 1, Sudborough House, St Mary’s House, London Road, Kettering, NN15 7PW
Mick Lomas Personal Development and Apprenticeship Manager at NHFT said: “This is a great opportunity for young people to gain experience in interviews and for those who are looking to get back into work to refresh their skills.
‘We aim to help reduce the daunting or nervous aspect of attending interviews by helping you be fully prepared in what you need to know.”
