Celebrating International Women's Day

International Women's Day - four images of female NHFT colleagues

Each year on the 8 March, people across the globe celebrate women’s achievements to mark International Women’s Day.

Northamptonshire Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust (NHFT) is made up of inspirational women across the Trust who make a difference every day to the lives of our service users and communities.

Angela Hillery, Chief Executive of NHFT and buddy Trust Leicestershire Partnership Trust, supported a number of activities to celebrate International Women’s Day. This included joining LPT for the women’s hour session – celebrating staff stories. As well as participating in the Women In Health and Care Twitter chat this morning from 7.30am, alongside a panel female leaders in Healthcare. The panel discussed the theme of everyday courage and how to achieve an equal future in a COVID world.

Angela joined the Mayor of Raunds, Councillor Sylvia Hughes, for the panel of exceptional women for the Raunds Town Council International Women's Day virtual conference.
