Sometimes it's through expert care and support.
Sometimes it's the extra time taken to listen.
And sometimes, it's the small acts of kindness that mean the most during difficult moments.
W e're inviting you to help us recognise those people. People across Northamptonshire are being encouraged to recognise the NHS teams and staff who have made a real difference to their care by submitting a nomination for Northamptonshire Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust's (NHFT) Patient and Carer Choice Award.
The award forms part of NHFT's annual team awards, the THRIVE Awards and gives service users, patients, carers and families the opportunity to say thank you to a member of staff or a team who has provided outstanding care or support.
Linda Chibuzor, Chief Nurse at Northamptonshire Healthcare, said:
"Every day, NHFT colleagues make a difference to the lives of the people they care for whether through expert treatment and advice, taking the time to listen, or showing kindness during difficult moments. We want to know who has made a difference for you. This is chance to share your experiences and help shine a light on those who go above and beyond"
How to nominate
Submitting a nomination is quick and simple. Patients and carers can nominate any member of NHFT staff, including nurses, therapists, doctors, support workers and other colleagues.
