Library services
The Library is housed at the heart of the academic centre at Berrywood Hospital.
Berrywood Library offers a specialist collection of resources on mental health and illness, learning disabilities, counselling, psychotherapy, psychology, drugs and alcohol and other related areas. In addition the collection is also covers nursing, elderly care, community and social care.
The library is staffed from 9am to 5pm, Monday to Friday, and 24/7 out of hours access is available to members via a swipe system using your library membership card.
For access at weekends and between 4pm and 8am on weekdays you will need a fob to access the first floor. If you do not already have one you can borrow one from the hospital reception by leaving your keys as a deposit.
Facilities include:
- PCs with MS Office / Internet
- PCs for NHFT staff log on
- Free wi-fi
- Study spaces
- Photocopier / printer
- Scanning
Parking is free at Berrywood, but it can be difficult to find a space at peak times.

Car parking
There is free on-site car park at Berrywood Hospital. Please note this can be extremly limited at busy times. When parking at Berrywood please do not block any entrances or park on the grass verges.
