The Richmond Library based within the William Kerr Building (situated in Area J of the hospital) is the largest of the library sites both in terms of stock and study facilities.
The Library is open to members 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. Access outside staffed hours is via a swipe system using your library membership card.
It directly supports all clinical specialties with the exception of mental health and learning disabilities. The library currently holds over 11,000 documents and 200 regular journal titles.
Types of information held includes:
- Clinical journals and textbooks in medicine, nursing and allied health
- Stock covering management, policy and other non-clinical areas
- Postgraduate MCQ and study aids
- Audio-visual resources including DVDs, CD-ROMS and models.
- Study tables
- Self service photocopier
- PCs with MS Office
- Internet access
- Access to email.
