Quality Awards 2025 - Recognising excellence across the local NHS

Now in its eleventh year, the Northamptonshire Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust (NHFT) Quality Awards continue to shine a spotlight on the dedication, compassion, and innovation that defines NHFT.

This year's NHFT Quality Awards ceremony took place on Friday 7 November 2025, during which the 'shining stars' who have gone above and beyond, including doctors, nurses, allied health professionals and other NHS workers, were honoured.

It was a night to recognise the inspiring NHS professionals who have demonstrated outstanding care to support patients and colleagues across Northamptonshire, as well as an opportunity to share learning and grow as an NHS team.

The evening was opened by NHFT's Chief Executive, Angela Hillery, and closed by the Trust's new Interim Group Chair, Faisal Hussain, who both paid tribute to the incredible efforts of colleagues across the organisation.

Angela Hillery said: "Every single day across Northamptonshire and beyond, colleagues from team NHFT are working in our communities, making a difference for those in need. Our Quality Awards are an opportunity to say thank you and recognise the outstanding, compassionate care they are providing.

As Chief Executive of the organisation I am proud and humbled by the stories we have seen in the nominations for this year's awards. Our incredible hard-working colleagues are striving to bring compassionate care to life, to innovate and ensure continuous improvement and make a difference, together every single day."

The Trust extends its sincere thanks to headline sponsor Northamptonshire Health Charity as well as Hempsons , Fleet Architects, Riverside Printing, and the Mercure Hotel who also supported the event. The Trust are looking for passionate local businesses who would like to support next year's recognition programme, if you are interested, please email: commsteam@nhft.nhs.uk
