NHFT are holding a Mental Health and Learning Disability Open Day for students, at Berrywood Hospital, Northampton, on Saturday 23rd February.

The Open Day comes during a significant year as Learning Disability Nursing is celebrating its centenary in 2019. NHFT is working closely with the University of Northampton to encourage current student nurses to come along and find out more about the roles available within this field at the Trust.

There are opportunities to apply for roles in mental health nursing that can be secured for after students complete their qualifications.

Head of pre-registration Julie Brice said: “Those visiting on the day can take a tour of the facilities, speak to our nurses about the work they do and hear about why NHFT provides them with a flexible and supportive working environment.

“There will be opportunities to take part in activities and find out more about our research and innovation as well as the opportunity to register for an interview on the day.”

To take advantage of this opportunity, students can bring their paperwork with them on the day or pre-register online for an interview by clicking here or register your place without an interview by clicking here
