Thank you to everyone who joined us for our Annual Public and Members' Meeting (APMM) this year.
The event provided an opportunity for members, service users, carers, partners, colleagues and members of the public to hear about NHFT's achievements over the past year, learn more about our THRIVE strategy in action, and ask questions directly to Trust leaders.

Looking back on 2025/26
Chief Executive Angela Hillery reflected on the Trust's achievements during 2025/26 and outlined progress against our THRIVE strategy. Attendees heard about the work taking place across NHFT to improve the health and wellbeing of the communities we serve and the impact that services and teams continue to have across Northamptonshire and beyond.
THRIVE in action
The meeting featured two examples of THRIVE in action, highlighting how partnership working, innovation and a focus on improving lives are making a difference for local people.
The first case study showcased Thriving in Life , a new health and wellbeing service for 11 to 19-year-olds in North Northamptonshire. Presented by Louisa Russell, Assistant Director for Integrated Children's Services, alongside Jane Rowley from Youth Works Northamptonshire, the session demonstrated how organisations are working together to support young people with their wellbeing and help them access the right support at the right time.
Attendees also heard from James Bell, Professional Lead for MSK Physiotherapy and Hand Therapy and Staff Governor, who shared how technology is being used to improve access to care through a Physiotherapy Symptom Checker. The presentation highlighted how digital innovation can help people find information and support more quickly while ensuring patients access the most appropriate services for their needs.
Governors making a difference
Members also watched a video from NHFT's Council of Governors, showcasing how governors have embedded their pledges into their everyday activities. The video highlighted the important role governors play in representing members and communities, providing assurance, and helping to shape the future of the Trust.
Annual Report and Accounts
The meeting included a presentation on NHFT's Annual Report and Accounts for 2025/26, providing an overview of the Trust's financial position and organisational performance over the last year.
Questions from members and the public
The evening concluded with a question and answer session chaired by Interim Chair Faisal Hussain. This gave attendees the opportunity to ask questions and hear directly from Trust leaders about the issues that matter most to them.
