Covid-19 vaccination during Ramadan

Taking the covid-19 vaccine during Ramadan does not invalidate the fast

Ramadan

With Ramadan just around the corner (12 April – 12 May), it’s important to note that the vaccine doesn’t affect or invalidate fasting.

When it’s your turn, have the vaccine and don’t delay until after Ramadan. As shared by the British Islamic Medical Association, Islamic Scholars’ opinion is that taking the COVID-19 vaccine does not invalidate a fast, as it is an intramuscular injection.
