Northamptonshire Sexual Health Service offers the following services: • testing for sexually transmitted infections • outpatient care for blood-borne virus infection including HIV (Summers Unit) • all methods of contraception with ongoing management of complex contraceptive needs • treatment for genital skin/pain conditions

Adult Services - Sexual Health Service

This service runs on the 2nd and 4th Monday of each month from 2:15 PM - 4:15 PM.

At this site we offer:

  • We offer contraception including Implant fitting, removals and exchanges.
  • Coil removals and checks
  • Emergency contraception
  • Basic contraception - pills and patches (for Under 19's only)
  • Basic STI testing for asymptomatic patients only - chlamydia, gonorrhoea and BBV testing
  • Advice on GU and Contraception

Please note: If you have any symptoms or you wish to have an HIV or syphilis test, you should contact the Hub on 03000 274100 or 03000 270110 to arrange an appointment at a Hub site. HIV and syphilis testing is not currently available at this site.
