Hear from our service users about the difference we're making - February 2022

NHFT colleagues case study booklet

At team NHFT it is our mission to make a difference for you, with you. Ensuring our services work with you to create spaces where you feel safe and listened too is so important to us. The voices of those who access our services, and through IWantGreatCare  we can listen and respond to your experiences.

Through the feedback our service users, patients, carers, and their families give, we continue to evolve our services to helps us to achieve our vision of being an outstanding provider of care.

Working with our teams we are create a “you said, we did” structure and we hope that our patients, service users and the carers and families that support them, will be able to see and feel the tangible difference that they have helped to shape.

We wanted to share with you the latest data we’ve received which covers February 2022 including some of the reviews we are most proud of.

Over this period, we’ve had:

  • 674 reviews
  • 4.72/5 stars on average for our responses
  • 90.4% of people had a positive experience with us

From our adult services:

First Contact Physiotherapy: "My consultant was very informative explaining what the problem was and how I could help myself with simple exercises.”

Integrated Sexual Health Services: "I was quite nervous as I often feel faint, but she really put me at ease, and was very gentle with the procedure - it was over in a flash!"

From our children services:

0-19 Admin Hub: "Nothing to improve on, the lady I spoke to really has a kind heart, she explained things like a mum would, honest and genuinely caring. I was nervous about ringing, but so glad I did now I have ways to improve things for my son's speech. Thank you so much for your time today

Children’s Continence service: "Help on hand as and when needed. Listened to and responded to our needs. Very supportive staff!”

From our mental health services:

Sandpiper Ward: "The nurses and HCA's on Sandpiper have been nothing but supportive towards me in my most vulnerable staffs without judgement. X, X, X,* have saved my life. “

Community Mental Health – Red Kite: "I felt like I was listened to and that different options have been explored with me to ensure I get the correct care. I felt that I was treated with respect and I felt comfortable. Questions were explained to me in a way I understood after saying I did not understand.”
