Our Annual General meeting went live again this year and here is a look back…

2020 into 2021 has been a time like no other. We have faced challenges, but there are so many achievements which we have to look back on.

Our Annual General and Public and Members Meeting provided an opportunity to showcase the difference our service users, carers, colleagues and Governors have made over the last 12 months.

The theme for this year’s event was ‘looking after ourselves and each other’ and we were fortunate enough to be joined by two of our outstanding clinicians Dr Sunil Lad and Stephen Rigby. They took us through some practical tips on how to look after our physical and mental wellbeing.

teamNHFT went virtual for this year’s meeting on Monday (20 September) with the annual showcase being held online for the second year running.

The online meeting allowed our community, service users, governors and colleagues to come together to reflect on the last year at NHFT. You can re-watch the meeting in this video:

The inspirational event was led by our Chair, Crishni Waring alongside Angela Hillery, our Chief Executive, showcasing our compassionate teams, looking at how they have adapted to the pandemic and ensured you continue to receive quality NHS care.  We also formally presented our Annual Report & Accounts and our Quality Account

Chris Davison, our Lead Governor, along with other members of our Council of Governors showcased their role representing you, our community; highlighting the work they do and how they make a difference.
