NHFT Adult Physical Health services engagement event

Involvement campaign branding

As the community and mental health provider in the county, Northamptonshire Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust (NHFT) are inviting you to come along to their first involvement and engagement event for adult physical health services. Details below:

Tuesday 23 April 2019, 1pm to 4pm,

Fitzjohn Room, Moulton Community Centre,

 Sandyhill Lane, Reedings,

Moulton, Northampton,

NN3 7AX

You may have accessed adult physical health services without realising they were part of NHFT, for example these may have been; community nursing, intermediate care team, Diabetes MDT, Musculoskeletal (MSK) physiotherapy, adult community inpatient hospital and much more.

The event is completely free to attend and will provide an opportunity to find out more about our adult physical health services, share your own experiences as well as find out how you can get involved in shaping these services going forward.

Patient, service user, carer and family participation is incredibly important, it really enables those who have used our services to highlight areas that have worked well, but also not worked so well to make them even better going forward. There are a variety of speakers who will be sharing their patient and carer lived experience, as well as staff members and current involvees  sharing the positive impact involvement and co-production has made for the service as well as the individuals.

The day will provide the opportunity to engage with patients, carers, volunteers, NHFT staff and governors as well as the wider public to learn more about the services we provide and the opportunities these may hold for you.

There are many different areas to be involved which may include; being part of interview panels, attending service meetings, helping to shape services, reviewing documents and much more.

Become ‘the me that makes the difference’ and register to attend the event today! You can register for the event online here or by emailing susan.price@nhft.nhs.uk
