Meet the winners of our art competition!

Covid-19 art competition with rainbow, nurse with superhero cape and child drawing

Budding artists across Northamptonshire have put their pens to papers, and brushes to canvas in a bid to spread some joy as part of the NHFT art competition.

From superheroes, to rainbows, to poems and all the wonderful sketches, local NHS trusts have been overwhelmed with the support throughout the pandemic, and it was time that NHFT organised an art competition to honour this!

To celebrate the talent across the county, NHFT hosted an art competition throughout the summer and commemorate the ongoing dedication and hard-work received from NHS colleagues during this challenging period.

The competition had three categories in which one lucky winner from each received a certificate NHFT chief executive, Angela Hillery, as well as a chocolate prize. Selected by an array of judges, the winning designs were created by Harriet (0-11 category), Isabella (11-18) and Hannah (18+ category).

Angela Hillery, Chief Executive of NHFT, said: “We have been overwhelmed by the creativity and talent of the budding artists who took the time to enter the art competition. Each and every design has touched our colleagues, and provided them with a much-needed smile during these challenging times.

“We would like to thank everyone who sent in their fantastic designs, and congratulations to our three winners; Hannah, Isabella and Harriet.”
