Why NHFT?

Here NHFT we are dedicated to making a positive difference and to providing care with compassion. We put the person at the centre of everything we do, so if you want to work for a Trust which is focused on making a difference this is the place for you.

NHFT, the county’s NHS mental health and community healthcare provider, has been rated as Outstanding following an inspection by the Care Quality Commission (CQC)

  • NHFT is now the third mental health Trust in the country to receive this impressive rating and only the second to receive it as a Trust who also provide community and integrated care alongside mental health care.
  • The CQC praised the Trust’s staff on embracing vision and values of the organisation as well as the strong leadership in place which has been reflected in the Well-led rating of outstanding.

NHFT was named Trust of the Year at the Health Service Journal (HSJ) Awards 2018. The HSJ Awards are the largest and most prestigious health awards in the country, and it is a real honour and achievement for our Trust to be recognised on this national level.

The Trust of the Year award recognises organisations which are offering excellent, patient-centric care and are shown to be innovative and forward thinking to meet the needs of the population they serve.
