Northamptonshire Stop Smoking Service and rallying the smokers on this No Smoking Day, Wednesday 12th March 2014, to help smokers in the county on their road to victory.
No Smoking Day is a great opportunity to think about quitting cigarettes for good. The Northamptonshire Stop Smoking Service is here to help those smokers who are thinking about quitting or ready to quit now.

Lord Maurice Saatchi visited Cynthia Spencer Hospice on Friday 31st January with Michael Ellis, MP for Northampton North, to discuss the Medical Innovation Bill and to find out about palliative care services in Northamptonshire.

A Health and Wellbeing event that NHFT held jointly with lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender (LGBT) charity Stonewall was a great success.
The event was organised to make LGBT people aware of the services and support available locally. It forms part of the work Northamptonshire Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust (NHFT) is undertaking with the LGBT charity Stonewall to improve the patient experience of this group.

Winners announced for the Northamptonshire Carers Awards The fourth Jane Roebuck Carers Awards were held on Wednesday 29 January to honour and celebrate the fantastic work of carers in Northamptonshire during 2013.
In addition to the difference they make to the lives of their loved ones, it is estimated that carers save health and social services around £120bn a year nationally, an average of £18,473 per carer. One in ten people are carers and in Northamptonshire alone there are around 70,000 known carers.
