Details

Running for the length of January, Dry January challenges people to give up alcohol for the month, to look into the reasons they drink alcohol and to see if they can identify any physical, mental and spiritual benefits from abstaining from alcohol.

With benefits such as losing weight, sleeping better and of course saving money, Dry January attempts to raise awareness of the UK’s biggest risk factor for death, ill-health and disability for people aged 15 -49.

If you have concerns about your own alcohol intake your local GP may be able to help you formulate a plan of action.
