Carers Week runs from 11-17 June 2018, is an annual campaign to raise awareness of caring, highlight the challenges that carers in the UK face as well as to recognise the contribution they make to families and to the people they care for.

There are around 6.5 million carers in the UK who are looking after a parent, partner, friend or child - a carer is someone who provides unpaid care for someone who has a disbility, illness, mental health problems or who need help as they get older.
